Chocolate is a big part of my day and life in general, I also happen to like baking at home. A few years ago I found this amazing fudgy brownie recipe and tweaked it to make my own. This is one of my favourite desserts and I try to make it every now and then.
140 grams or 5 ounces of butter unsalted
1 cup sugar
1 bar of Lindt 70% cocoa (melted) or any bar of your choice if you don’t like Dark.
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
⅔ cups all purpose flour
In a bowl whisk together butter that is at room temperature and sugar together until creamy. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract. Add in melted chocolate
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and prepare a baking pan
Mix in the flour, cocoa powder and salt together in a separate bowl. Combine the dry and the wet ingredients, make sure to not over mix. Pour into the baking pan.
Pour batter into the baking pan and bake for 35-45 minutes depending on how fudgy you like your brownies.
